Brain Cancer

Brantley

Brantley

Brantley was a loving boy the biggest ambitions! He wanted to be a doctor and Spiderman when he got older. On March 30th, 2016, Brantley woke up with a severe headache, not able to walk correctly, couldn’t swallow, and was seeing double. We decided to take Brantley to the ER, because we knew something was wrong. After a CT scan, and an hour of knowing that everything was going to be ok, the Doctor came back in to let us know that they had found something and that he would be life flighted to...

Baxter

Baxter

Baxter was born on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 4:09 pm. He weighed 7 lbs and 5 oz and was 20.5 in long. He was healthy and perfect! He was a healthy infant/toddler, never had an ear infection, tummy bugs were rare, and he would make it through cold and flu season with maybe catching one runny nose a season, lasting a few short days. The only doctor appointments we went to were his Well Baby Visits! That all changed on Friday, March 7, 2015. That was the first time he complained of his tummy...

Joseph

Joseph

In November of 2007, when Joseph (or Joe P., as he introduces himself) was just over 3 years old, his parents started noticing his head was tilted to one side and his left eye was not moving quite like his right one. They took him to the emergency room for an MRI, where they received the earth-shattering news that he had a brain tumor. He had surgery a few days later, where they removed about one-third of the tumor, and from the biopsy they found out it was a grade 3 astrocytoma. They later...
