Abby is currently in the 10th grade. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November 2009. Abby began chemo treatments after diagnosis and completed the protocol in March 2011. It was determined after a year of being off chemo that Abby would need to start treatments again. In June 2010, Casey began to have trouble walking while on a family vacation to Myrtle Beach. Within two days she was having difficulty getting up off the ground. We took her to the emergency room and they performed an MRI where they found a 5 inch spinal tumor (Spinal Astrocytoma). Hailey’s story began at a check up when she was seven months old.
