Gus’ family writes, “Augustus “Gus” was diagnosed with stage 4 Medulloblastoma brain cancer in June 2010. His case is considered high risk because he is under the age of 3, his cancer is metastatic, and there were free-floating cancer cells in his cerebrospinal fluid. Gus underwent major brain surgery in June where a golf ball-sized tumor was removed from the posterior fossa portion of the brain. After surgery, he lost his ability to walk, talk, swallow and see. Aracely was 8 years old when she was diagnosed with a pineoblastoma brain tumor on June 1, 2015. She had begun having headaches and not acting like her usual self. She has had three surgeries to remove as much of the tumor as possible and is currently undergoing her fourth round of chemo.  Aracely is a dedicated Girl Scout.
