Rally Kid Nora: Fighting for Her Future — Again.

Dance, tumbling, playing outside and all things pink — these are the joys that light up Rally Kid Nora’s world. She loves to go to school and spend time with her two brothers, just like most kids her age. Nora isn’t like most kids, however. Her life and activities have been altered by childhood cancer.

Nora was just 4 years old when her parents heard the words, “Your child has high-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).” Even after treatment began, the shock hadn’t worn off. “We were still in denial…still didn’t believe it,” said her mom, Abby. Nora endured two years of hospital stays and painful treatments, suffering harsh side effects, infections and illnesses.
But through it all, she smiled. She stayed joyful. She took a line from a favorite song to be her battle cry: “Fight on, Fighter!” The treatments seemed to work, and her family allowed themselves to breathe and to hope.
But then came the unthinkable — a relapse.

Suddenly, they were back in the fight, navigating the emotional rollercoaster, the travel and the heartbreak of separation. Nora’s dad, Mike, put it simply, “I think separation hurts the worst, because you don’t have a choice. You have other kids that still have to be kids. And, at the end of the day, somebody gets left out.”
When one child is diagnosed with cancer, the whole family fights. Her two brothers, Cohen and Crew, have had their lives disrupted as well. They need stability and support throughout this journey as well. The entire family needs support.

With your help, Nora and her family do not have to face their battle with cancer alone.
Rally Foundation walks beside them, offering support not only in the hospital, but at home, at school and every moment in between. We give them emotional support, financial assistance and, most importantly, hope.
Rally’s mission is to fund the most promising, cutting-edge research to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects. Your generosity fuels breakthroughs that could one day make the word “relapse” a thing of the past.
Nora dreams of playing Legos with Cohen and of creating painting projects with Crew. She just wants to be a kid. With your support today, we will together help her to “Fight on, Fighter!”
