Matt Hobby Classic Raises Over $29,000 for Pediatric Cancer Research

Pope High School’s annual football fundraiser held in memory of a late Greyhounds player, Matt Hobby, was a tremendous success. The event raised over $29,000 from the sales of a special T-shirt, which is redesigned annually for the occasion. Since the inception of the Matt Hobby Classic in 2006, over $400,000 has been raised for pediatric cancer research through the Rally Foundation. This year’s event was co-chaired by Rylee Johnson and Lisa Aldridge.
