Volunteers are the heart of Rally's mission!
Hi, my name is Brielle. I’m 8-years-old, and I’ve been fighting cancer for as long as I can remember. I was 4 when I first got sick, and for two years, I went through a lot of treatments. It wasn’t easy, but when it was all done, I finally got to be just a normal kid again. I went back to school, played with my friends and even took dance classes! I loved it. My favorite thing was spending time with my family — we had so much fun together.
But then, the cancer came back. I lost my hair again. I had to leave my friends, my home and my family to go to a hospital far away. Most days, I just wish I could be home playing with my siblings or going to school. But instead, I’m in a hospital room, trying to be brave.
I don’t want to do this again, but I have to. I’m going to keep fighting, because I believe I can beat this. That’s why I wear a necklace with my motto: #WeFight. It reminds me that I’m not alone in this fight.
There are so many kids like me battling cancer every day. That’s why we need your help. Rally Foundation is working to find better treatments that don’t make us sick and tired. They’re working to find cures — so that one day, no kid has to go through this again.
We can’t do it without you. Will you fight with us?
Together, we can make it happen. Together, #WeFight.
