Daniel Joseph, aka DJ, was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 15, 2019. Just two weeks prior, DJ had been feeling sick off and on. His family thought it was just a cold or flu because he occasionally felt better, then the symptoms would return. One morning, after noticing bruises on DJ’s legs and back, they brought him to the Emergency Room. Within a few hours, they received a cancer diagnosis. DJ was transported via ambulance to a pediatric oncology unit and, just two days later, he began chemotherapy. DJ spent two weeks in the hospital before transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care. DJ travels back and forth via ferry from New York to Vermont several times each week to receive chemotherapy. His treatment protocol is three and a half years. DJ’s family asks for your prayers as they face a very long road to recovery.

Every child who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer inspires us to Rally On to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation or setting up your own Rally fundraiser today.
