Over a span of two weeks Khaz began to experience the following symptoms: loss of appetite, blankly staring, lethargic, shaking a couple of times after waking, hard time with balance and coordination/ sitting, and loss of interest in things he loves. His parents took him to his pediatrician and urgent care numerous times. He received multiple diagnosis of an ear infection or infection in the throat. Khaz was eventually taken to the ER after medication was not helping. After many tests and an MRI, a tumor was found and Khaz was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in April 2023.
