In December 2013, Katie was taken to the ER after fainting at home. Blood tests showed that her platelets and hemoglobin were dangerously lowso she was transferred to the hospital and was diagnosed with leukemia the next day. Katie has handled her treatment very well and has just finished her treatment after 2.5 years! Katie loves to sing, dance, and draw pictures for her family.

Every child who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer inspires us to Rally On to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation or setting up your own Rally fundraiser today.
