Eugene Hwang, MD

Children’s National Medical Center; Washington, D.C. – Director, Neuro-oncology Fellowship Program; Director, Clinical Neuro-oncology Immunotherapeutic Program

Dr. Hwang received his M.D. at Duke University School of Medicine, completed his residency at Brown University, and returned to Duke to finish his fellowships in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Pediatric Neuro-oncology. He is currently an associate professor at Children’s National Medical Center, where he designs and leads developmental therapeutic clinical trials for children with brain cancer, with an emphasis on immunotherapy.
