On November 1, 2022, Ellie was diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma. She spent 35 days in the hospital immediately after diagnosis, underwent 2 surgeries, and multiple rounds of chemotherapy treatments. Ellie then spent 11 weeks in the hospital, due to numerous complications from her stem cell transplant. Ellie is so strong and continues to show resilience and bravery throughout treatment.
