Andrew Hong, MD

Emory University; Atlanta, GA – Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Hong received his MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. He is currently on the faculty at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta / Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. He is also the chair of the Renal Tumor Biology Committee for the Children’s Oncology Group (COG). His lab focuses on using functional genomics to interrogate kidney and brain cancers with the ultimate goal of identifying new therapeutic targets.
