Candace and her beloved dog, Concho, took on cancer and they continue to be Superhero & Sidekick for life. Candace was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in August 2014 after just having turned 14. She got Concho a few months later, and they have been inseparable ever since.
