Shortly before her 3rd birthday, her father and I noticed a white glare in her eye. We took her to the pediatrician on her 3rd birthday, and they did not see what we were seeing. We were informed that we could take her to an ophthalmologist if we wanted. Of course we did. After going to three ophthalmologists including two pediatric specialists, in a matter of a week we finally had a diagnosis. Our daughter has retinoblastoma, or cancer in her eye. She is at stage D of a scale of A-E, with severe seeding. Photo Credit: Sweet Life Photography
