Vanderbilt University Medical Center – Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Dr. Smith is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Clinically, she focuses on hematologic malignancies with a special focus on lymphomas, both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin. Her research interests include rare lymphomas such as relapsed/refractory ALCL, PTLD, and mature B cell lymphomas. Additionally, Dr. Smith is active in efforts to improve the quality and safety of care provided to patients and families undergoing treatment for childhood cancer and blood disorders both locally and nationally. Dr. Smith received her medical degree from ETSU – Quillen College of Medicine, completed her pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, and then completed her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Vanderbilt prior to joining the faculty in 2019.
