Dr. Burke is an Associate Professor and pediatric oncologist at Children’s Wisconsin in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. He is Director of the Pediatric Leukemia & Lymphoma Program and Co-Director of the Developmental Therapeutics Program where he oversees all early-phase clinical trials at Children’s. Dr. Burke’s research interests focus on reporting clinical outcomes for both children and adults with high-risk leukemia for which he has over 30 publications as well as the development of early phase clinical trials investigating novel agents and/or combination therapies for relapsed/refractory acute leukemia.

Dr. Burke completed his pediatric residency at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and pediatric fellowship training in hematology-oncology at Northwestern University Lurie Children’s Hospital.
