Dr. Bhatt is a pediatric stem cell transplant physician at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center/ University of Washington, Seattle, WA. His research interests focus on cancer and SCT survivorship with specific emphasis on understanding and improving social reintegration challenges of pediatric cancer and HCT survivors. Dr. Bhatt also serves on the Children’s Oncology Group Long-Term Follow-Up Guidelines Task Force and the American Society of Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Survivorship Special Interest Group steering committee.

Dr. Bhatt received his medical degree from B. J. Medical College, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, India, and subsequently pursued a Masters in Public Health at the University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston, TX. He completed his pediatric residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Elmhurst Hospital Center, NY, and fellowship in pediatric hematology/ oncology/bone marrow transplant and cancer survivorship from Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, respectively.
