Did you know that 47 kids are diagnosed with cancer every school day? That’s about two classrooms full of children every day throughout the school year who, along with their families, have to brace themselves for the fight of their lives. Being that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to honor those 47 kids by partnering with Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research for the 47 Faces of Rally fundraiser. Join me today in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation here. Together, we can make a difference!

The average age of a childhood cancer diagnosis is just six years old. These young kids often experience more pain and hardship in their young lives than most adults do. We can, however, give children with cancer hope for the future. When you contribute to my fundraiser with Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, you’ll help fund groundbreaking research so that one day, no six-year-old has to endure the debilitating effects of cancer. As some of you may know, cancer treatment can be brutal—especially for children. These treatments often come with debilitating side effects that can linger on long after the cancer itself is gone. It’s one of the reasons why Rally funds research in hopes of discovering new and better treatments, and ultimately cures, with fewer harmful side effects. The average age of death for a child with cancer is just eight years old. Eight short years on this planet is not nearly long enough for these precious children, who spend much of that time fighting for their lives. Let’s fight with them in the battle against childhood cancer by raising funds and awareness with Rally for better treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and one day, a cure.

Imagine being prescribed medicine that comes with harmful and often life-long side effects. Would you take it? For many children with cancer, that harmful treatment is their only option. In fact, more than 95% of kids with cancer suffer from significant health issues due to the side effects of their treatment. Join me in raising funds for better treatments by donating here today.

A cancer diagnosis can come with a heavy financial burden for many families. The average cost of a singular hospital stay for a kid with cancer is $40,000. The medical bills, travel costs and loss of income from parents who take on caregiving responsibilities can quickly add up. With your help, we can ease that burden by supporting the 46 Faces of Rally fundraiser during the month of September. Click my fundraising link to learn more.

One of the scariest things about childhood cancer is that it can spread to other parts of the body before your child is even diagnosed. Unfortunately, this is the case for a whopping 80% of kids with cancer. It’s hard to fathom, but it’s one of the reasons why I’m fundraising for the 47 Faces of Rally this September.
