Sienna was diagnosed in July of 2022, just a few months before her second birthday. She initially had some bruising that her parents were concerned about. They took her to the pediatrician where she was first diagnosed with a platelet disorder. After more tests and a bone marrow aspiration, Sienna was diagnosed with AML.
