Savannah was diagnosed with Very High Risk B Cell ALL on January 29th, 2016. She had been having severe pain in her knee and went to the family doctor on January 28th. She noticed that Savannah was pale and had an elevated blood pressure so she ordered some lab work. That morning we went by the hospital, had the labs drawn and then went on about our day, going to work and school. That afternoon the doctor called and told me that she had Savannah’s lab results and there were some concerning values. She advised me to go get Savannah from school and go immediately to the ER at Scottish Rite. Around 10:00 that night we received the news that Savannah has ALL. Since then we’ve been on this journey to beat ALL.
