Jackson’s journey with ALL began on December 8, 2006. He woke up with a lazy left eyelid. Throughout the month of December we visited four different specialists trying to figure out the reason for the lazy eyelid. Finally, on December 28th, we visited Egleston and Dr. Frank Keller told us what was wrong with our son – Pre-B ALL. We were admitted to the hospital immediately and Jackson received his first dose of chemo that night. He went on to endure 3.5 years of chemo. He was in remission after only 21 days of treatment! Today, Jackson is 12 years old, in 7th grade and doing great.
