I was diagnosed in May of 2016, at the age of 18 with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer that was located in my arm. I had just finished my first year of college and had been part of the college volunteer program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta working with children in the rehabilitation unit up until my diagnosis. I then returned toChildren’s Healthcare of Atlanta as a cancer patient. I am on a 43 week treatment protocol that includes 14 cycles of chemotherapy, surgery for tumor removal, and 28 sessions of radiation treatments. I am on schedule to finish treatment in March and am looking forward to ringing that bell

Every child who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer inspires us to Rally On to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation or setting up your own Rally fundraiser today.
