Nolan had just turned three years old when, after six weeks of unexplained symptoms, he was transported via ambulance to the local children’s hospital. He remained in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for over a week and was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on November 19, 2018. Nolan continued to receive treatment at this hospital until achieving remission and entering the maintenance phase. Together with his younger sister, Nolan’s mother moved the family out of state for a new start. The ALL treatment plan for boys is over three years so Nolan’s cancer journey is far from over, yet his shining spirit has never wavered. He loves nature, swimming, music, dancing, playing and making new friends. Thankfully, cancer has not taken these joys away from Nolan.
Every child who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer inspires us to Rally On to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation or setting up your own Rally fundraiser today.
