Madeline was diagnosed with stage 3 intermediate risk neuroblastoma just after her 3rd birthday. After six rounds of chemo her tumor had barely changed, so she underwent a 14-hour surgery to remove most of it. Madeline now has scans every 3 months to monitor her remaining tumor. If her tumor is to grow, knowing she has the ALK mutation, different treatment options will be key. Her family hopes that science grows faster than her tumor.
Every child who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer inspires us to Rally On to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation or setting up your own Rally fundraiser today.
