Jaxon was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma on April 10, 2018 at the age of 5. About a month before that, he had a lymph node near his collar bone grow but after a trip to the ER, his Pediatrician’s office, and several tests done they gave antibiotics and the swelling went down. About 2 weeks after that, it returned and grew larger and faster than before. A biopsy was done and that’s when we found out he had cancer. It was a total shock to his parents as cancer is very very rare on both sides of the family and no one expects a kindergartner to have cancer. While in the hospital receiving treatment Jaxon was already sharing plans to come back to the hospital when he was older to talk to and play with other recently diagnosed kids. He has such a pure and giving heart. We are believing that God will heal Jaxon and use him to help others soon.
