James was just like any other two year old boy; he loved to play and run around and tag along with his big sisters; he loved fishing and the beach and riding in the truck. On July 17, 2013, James went into respiratory distress, he was treated for that and he had an x-ray which is commonly done after respiratory distress. The x-ray showed an abnormal mass. We were scheduled for a CT scan almost two weeks after the initial “Attack”. The CT showed negative results so we thought we were in the clear. What we were truly looking at was James’s cancer. James has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia subtype T or T-Cell ALL. He is now 5 years old and is on maintenance therapy.James loves Luigi, Minecraft, Legos, and all things Disney!
