Ellanor Sylvia, our bright, perfect, smart, loving, super sweet little 4-year-old girl has been diagnosed with leukemia. In late July 2014, she started having symptoms of fatigue, irritability, sore muscles, and trouble taking too many steps at once. She was initially diagnosed with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. On our recent trip to Florida, her symptoms were getting worse and increased to include puffy eyes and pale skin. We rushed home from Florida to get her to the doctor. They took blood and urine and called back with results. We rushed her to the children’s hospital to get a blood transfusion and additional testing. She was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) on Wednesday, July 30.
Every child who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer inspires us to Rally On to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Please join us in the fight against childhood cancer by making a donation or setting up your own Rally fundraiser today.
