Briley was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on April 11, 2018. After being concerned because she had a prolonged fever and was extremely tired, her parents took her to her cardiologist. She currently has a enlarged heart do to acongenial heart defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) that was repaired at 4 months. She will have another repair at around the age of 11. When the cardiologist said her heart was ok, her labs showed her counts were high, indicating leukemia. She has almost three years of treatment ahead of her, but she doesn’t let that get her spirit down! You can find Briley with a big smile on her face any day. Briley enjoys being in plays and plays golf with her dad often. She hasn’t been able to do either of them because her treatment is so often. She also enjoys cooking and cake decorating but has spent most of the time watching video, rather then being able to get in the kitchen. She is looking forward to being able to do all of the things she enjoys again one day.
