Ashton was a happy 3 year old when he began to have random health issues like nose bleeds, leg pain, and extreme fatigue. All of his symptoms were unique because they each occurred once and he never mentioned them again. I took Ashton to his pediatrician and explained each occurrence and requested blood work. His pediatrician was very on board and we got labs done the same day, 11/11/15. On Friday, 11/13/15, I was called at work by his doctor stating that Ashton needed to be taken to the ER right away as his red blood cells were extremely low and his labs were very concerning. On Monday the 16th, a bone marrow biopsy was performed and he was diagnosed with ALL.
