Rally Kid Mary T shirt fundraiser
 |

Mary began complaining of pain in her right knee after a summer camp in 2012. In November, just a few months into her 6th grade year, the swelling and pain became significantly worse and she saw a doctor. After X-rays and a biopsy, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right distal femur. She will undergo three 10-week rounds of chemotherapy. The tumor will have to be surgically removed in February (2013), and she has decided to do rotationplasty, a procedure where a section of the femur, knee and top of the tibia is removed, the lower portion of the leg is rotated 180 degrees and attached to the upper femur. Although the surgery is radical, Mary is looking forward to an active lifestyle following surgery, more chemo and physical therapy to learn to walk with a prosthesis.
This is a great opportunity to show Mary support by purchasing a Rally for Mary T-shirt. Shirts may be purchased for a suggested minimum of a $15 donation. Please be sure to indicate the size and quantity of t-shirts you need. Robin Rohrbach, will be delivering t-shirts to those living in Cobb County. If you need your t-shirt(s) mailed directly to you, add $2.00 to your total amount on the payment page.
