Ava’s Angels to raise money for undifferentiated sarcoma research. For the past three years, Ava’s Angels have hosted Sweet Ava Summerfest at SweetWater Brewery in Atlanta. Ava in Wonderland was another fundraising event held in Ava’s memory to raise money for childhood cancer research. Along with the fundraising events, Ava’s family hosted a Rally for Ava t-shirt fundraiser, participated in 46 Faces, a Rally Kid fundraiser held in the month of September honoring the 46 children diagnosed with cancer every school day, and joined a Rally Athlete Training Team.
Funds raised by Ava’s Angels support Dr. Charles Keller’s research project The Next Step in Defining Targeted Therapies for Undifferentiated Sarcoma out of Oregon Health and Sciences University.
