Rally Across America
The 5th Rally Across America will take place from mid-May to mid-June 2012. As soon as they graduate from the University of Georgia in May, Luke Mosley and Zach Jones will hop on their bikes and cycle nearly 1,400 miles through the eastern United States visiting hospitals and raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer research in support of Rally's mission of empowering volunteers to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.
Rally Across America is an amateur cycling tour that has traveled throughout the country to raise funds and awareness for the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research. In past years, Rally Across America teams have cycled more than 8,000 miles to visit children with cancer at 30 hospitals in 27 cities. Rally Across America teams and supporters have raised over $217,000 through donations and more than 30 fundraisers. With your help, we hope to raise over $50,000 to support Rally's mission of finding better childhood cancer treatments with fewer long-term side effects, and ultimately, cures.Every school day in America, two classrooms of children, about 46 kids, are diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is the #1 disease killer of kids ages 0-15 in the United States.
Join Luke, Zach, and the Rally Across America team in this grassroots movement to give hope to all kids diagnosed with cancer. Check out the route below to see if they are coming to a place near you!
