Pilots Raise Funds for Childhood Cancer Research Delta and Northwest Airlines pilots in cooperation with the Air Line Pilots Association, Intl raised more than $37,000 for childhood cancer research at an inaugural charity golf tournament on Oct. 18 at the Silverstone Golf Club, 8600 Cupp Drive. The Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research event drew 65 golfers. In the Rally Foundation's first two years, it has provided more than $500,000 in childhood cancer research grants, supporting 28 projects across the country. In its third year, the foundation is funding clinical research in 15 states around the country. |
